Elisabeth studied for 4 years at a vocational school for the arts and crafts in Innsbruck, followed by attending the Glasfachschule Kramsach, graduating with a degree in Design in 2002.
She joined the Swarovski Design Team in 2004.
She credits her sister, an avid collector, for her introduction to Swarovski & tells us via the Swarovski website that animals have been an important part of her life, having taken an interest in the underwater world recently.

In 2006, she designed the Mother, Brother & Sister Bears. Since then, she has become a prolific Swarovski Designer & a favorite of ‘crystal fanatics‘.
Among her designs: SCS Standing Cub, and the Paradise Quartz Batfish, Scuba Blue Surgeon, Topaz Sea Goldies,
& Annual Edition (AE) Lion.
More recently she has designed the Black Diamond Woodpeckers, 2012 25th Anniversary Jubilee Dragon, the Soulmates Eagle, SCS Loyalty Peacock, & the 2013 AE Cinta Elephant.

Numbered Limited Editions include the Crystal Myriad Arabian Stallion (Amurath), & the Falcon (Alsaqur Alamake), as well as the Kiran Tiger, primarily auctioned for fund raising. Interestingly, one of our very own Crystal Fanatics won Kiran at a Swarovski gathering! Needless to say she was thrilled and we were all thrilled for her!

Have you noticed what all the Swarovski Designers seem to have in common?

It is great to see Swarovski have a lady designer in their team.
I think a few more would bring some new ideas to Swarovski.
