The Annual Edition Turtledoves “Amour” are a beautiful piece of art, displaying two Turtledoves lovingly touching each other. They are the third and final issue of the ‘Caring & Sharing’ Trilogy.
Designed by Adi Stocker, the Turtledoves are 3 1/2 inches (90mm) tall in size, and like the AE Woodpeckers, they were hand-assembled, so you could easily find them in varying positions. They carry the Swan Logo with SCS engraved on them.  Issued and Retired in 1989, they retailed at $195.

The current secondary market value is approximately $675, according to the ‘experts’.
I wish I could tell you that our beloved annual editions are indeed worth that much.  A review of the current resales on eBay shows they have sold for:
$275 MIB (mint in box) actually hand signed by Adi Stocker
$329 MIB
$225 MIB
$349.99 MIB
They did not sell at $400, $674.99, & $425.00 respectively.

On the other hand, if you are a Buyer, you can get these issues at some pretty fantastic prices.

Noteworthy:  An ‘expert’ can tell you how much anything is worth, but if you can’t sell it for that price, the valuation is pretty much worthless.

it seems that the bottom has fallen out of the secondary market for most collectables these days.
