What is Swarovski’s NEW  “Crystal Pixel” technology?
Crystal Pixel technology involves uniquely placing tiny chatons on both sides of metal, allowing the light to pass through with dramatic, sparkling results.

The newest ornaments released by Swarovski  – the Gold Pixel Snowflakes and Silver Pixel Star Ornaments  – are sold as a set of 3, designed by Heinz Tabertshofer.

The Crystal Pixel Snowflakes in silvertone and the Crystal Pixel Stars in goldtone feature crystal moonlight chatons;  the Snowflakes hang from a white satin ribbon and the Stars hang from a gold satin ribbon.  Each set of 3 ornaments retails for $75.

We will probably see more of this technology being used on pieces in the future.

No! not my cup of tea.
Looks like Swarovski is going down market a bit.

  2. Hi Marlene
I specifically asked Nancy if she had them, and she had never seen them.

Same response at the Swarovski store when I inquired. They are not advertised as Online only, but maybe they are trying them out there first. If they sell well perhaps they will be all the rage next year.

  3. Marlene says:

I would like to see these in person, but so far no luck. Are they available anywhere other than online?

  4. Robert says:

Well I didn’t like the old style of Swarovski ornie.

And sorry to say I do not like these.
