Arribas Brothers / Disney

Numerous items have been produced celebrating Walt Disney’s wonderful characters, issued by Arribas Brothers, for the Disney Parks in California, Florida, Paris, and Tokyo, using only Swarovski crystals in limited, sometimes numbered, editions.

A few of them include:

The Mickey and Minnie Mouse characters!
Mickey Mouse (of course!)
This was a Limited Edition of 10,000, available only in Arribas stores in the Disney Theme Parks, issued and retiring in 1997. More than 180 pave swarovski stones were used. Mickey stands 2 5/8 inches in height, and a special crystal stand was issued for him. He retailed for $295.00. A matching limited edition Minnie was also issued.  There are many, many other Arribas issues of all the Disney characters.

In this inaugural offering, The FABULOUS FIVE ~ Minnie, Mickey, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto miniatures were issued as a Limited Edition of 500 in a Special boxed Set that SOLD OUT in no time.
Arribas Brothers introduced this jeweled series in 1999.  These first 500 sets were specially packaged and each piece carried a special Mickey Head Logo stamp to indicate these are one of the first 500 produced. I prefer the early pieces Arribas sold. Not so keen on the pieces from the last few years.
